3s-4s Program
Within our child-centered environment, designed for active learning through play, children are supported by their teachers to grow, create and learn at their own unique pace. Using their knowledge and understanding of how young children develop and learn, teachers plan and facilitate curriculum and routines based on the children's interests and abilities. In order to develop self-esteem and social competence, children are encouraged to help themselves, take initiative, and become increasingly independent. Teachers provide children with a framework for problem solving while teaching and supporting conflict resolution skills
Throughout the morning children explore and learn through play in both their indoor and outdoor classrooms. Children actively participate in their learning process by choosing from a variety of meaningful and hands-on learning activities:
Art
Water & Sand Play
Music/Movement
Dramatic Play
Language/Literacy/Books
Science/Nature/Gardening
Running/Climbing
Large & Small Block Play
Puzzles/Games/Manipulatives
